“Swing Time”dan “In the Heights”a kadar müzikal filmler türün muhteşemliğini ve inanılmaz çeşitliliğini temsil ediyor.

Müzikal genellikle uzun zaman önce etkisini yitirmiş bir Hollywood film türü gibi hissettirse de söz konusu filmler gerçeklik ve fantezi arasında özgürce hareket eden hikâyeleri ve farklı dünyalar yaratma yetenekleriyle ilgi çeken bir tür olmaya devam ediyor.
